How do you place a specialty retailer into lifestyle conversations?
REI engaged us to help with event, content and marketing strategy and execution of their United Outside Campaign. The project resulted in daily content for the United Outside
microsite and over 100 events leading up to their first East Coast Flagship Grand Opening. Highlights included:
Wild Kitchen Dinner Series- pairing a local chef with a local environmental non-profit to host a conversation starting summer supper series, and uniquely position REI as a lifestyle brand, beyond their retail niche.
Grand Opening Programming - a series of VIP preview events, followed by a three day block party celebration anchored by musical talent such as the Ballou High School Marching
Band and Batala.
Jerky Fest- a day dedicated to all things jerky and featuring 30+
local jerky makers at REI’s Wundergarten at NOMA beer garden.
